SQotD: You And Me And One Spotlight

 Hey Guys, I'm back. I wrote a blog post yesterday, but somehow it didn't work, so I'm making a new one. I had to force myself to do this, because I think I'm running out of things to say. Actually I'm not, so I'll do this more often, but you can expect that most of them will just be me commenting on my favorite songs.
       I want to say something about this song by Yellowcard. As you know I love each and every song by Yellowcard, but there is always lines that I pick out that are my favorite. Mine in this song is:

     What I get from each line is interesting. It reminds me of our relationship with Christ and our Heavenly Father. We said, We are ready (We are ready)and we came down to earth. We plead that he will be all around us (Say you will be all around me). The symbolism of Christ's body sets us free in that we would be lost, but we need Christ to save us with the atonement to save our hearts from the bonds of slavery (When  your body sets your heart free). We ask to him to be around us all the way to the ending (Say you will be all around me. When  Say You'll guide me through the ending). Then we commend our body into the lord's hands so that we can serve him (Take my body set my heart free). Once again we pray and say, Lord, Say you will be all around me. Say you'll guide through the ending. Say you will be all around me.
       Even though this is surely not the way the song was intended, I really like my take on it. I've got the lyrics on there, and I'll connect a video of the song. Have a great day. It's good to be back.
