As a kid I always wanted fame
I dreamed about it every night and day
but it turned out to be all in vain
Cause I never got it, so I lost the game
When middle school came around again
I was back in the game, I was trying again
I was finding myself, finding who I'd be
but then it eventually occurred to me,
Fame is just a lonely game
Everyone wants it
so we're all the same
We're still fighting for a luxurious thing
But why do we do it,
if it's not worth anything.
In High School I had the spotlight
And maybe it blurred my sight
But fame didn't matter much
because I didn't need it as such,
but I learned something more important
that no one can say you can't
For we choose who we are
and when we do, we will go far,
because
Fame is just a lonely game
Everyone wants it
so we're all the same

People really want to see
Who you can be
so believe in yourself
and get yourself off the shelf
Just be yourself, be who you are
Fame and glory only take you so far
because it's your everyday side
that will change the tide, because
