Hello friends.
First of all, this isn't Greg. Obviously. He entered the MTC 2 days ago to serve for 2 years in the Florida, Ft. Lauderdale Mission speaking Haitian Creole. He will be missed, but he is where he is supposed to be.
He asked me, a friend, to finish posting all of his poems and songs he has written on this blog because he never got the time to do it before he left. I know that there are a lot of them and you may not think they are worth your time to read, but let me assure you: they are. If you are ever feeling down, need a laugh, or want to be inspired, I encourage you to read his writing. Greg always said he could never verbalize what he truly felt, but his writing says it all. It is quite profound and every poem has many different messages, depending on who you are and how you apply it to yourself. Personally, I have felt the Spirit reading a lot of what he wrote. He is very close with the Savior, that much is prevalent. If you are a true friend of Greg's, you will read some of his words while he is gone and maybe leave a comment or two. He would really appreciate coming home to that.
Greg is a worthy young man who has sacrificed a lot throughout his life purely for the good of others. His dream is to be a hero in someone else's life, but we all know that he has been just that to all of us. He will continue that legacy in a greater manner serving the Lord. If you would, please leave a comment here letting Greg know that he did touch your life in some way and I will send it to him on his mission. It would mean the world to him.
Thanks for reading. And as Greg would say, "Have the best day ever!!!!"
